Carson's First Christmas

Carson' first Christmas was a memorable one in Iowa...

Elf Yourself

This is too funny... you can make an elf of yourself that dances around and even record a message. (http://www.elfyourself.com/)

Update

Carson had his 6 month check-up and is now a whopping 19 1/2 lbs. and 28 1/2 inches long. He obviously doeesn't miss too many meals! He's even got his bottom teeth starting to come in and is on the move... not quite crawling yet, but can certainly make his way to where he wants to go. He continues to amaze us every day with all the new things he's learning. His new favorite is intentionally dropping things from the high chair just so we can pick them up... and he's found a new love for cups and Mom's baking spoons!

All else is well in Arizona. Doug and I have made it a point to golf every Thursday afternoon together for some "us" time. And it doesn't hurt my game any either to get out there once a week! We're also gearing up for a "A Happy Holiday with the Hammers" christmas gathering at our house this Saturday (yeah, cheesy I know... but I'm in marketing, what do you expect? -see the invite below-). If all goes well, it just may become an annual affair. We'll see...

We're very excited to come back to Iowa for the holidays in just a couple weeks. Although, the change from our comfy 70 degree weather will be quite a shock! It will be nice to see some snow hopefully (...yeah, yeah... I hear the groans from the Iowans).

Until next update... smiles & love from the Hammers
