Oh, the changes...

Here in the Hammer household we have witnessed quite a few changes in Carson in the last couple weeks. He has become so independent! He feeds himself his own bottle, he feeds himself finger foods, he now claps (at everything), he waves (sometimes), started doing "so big!", does more of a arm over arm crawl than scoot, and the biggest of all, pulls himself up.... on everything. Anything under 3 feet in our house is no longer safe! It has been very exciting (and exhausting) with all these developments. There is a whole new sense of exploration! He also says a lot of da, da when he's excited and ma, ma... when he's upset (of course).

Carson is also getting four of his top teeth at once right now. He was just at the doctor yesterday for his 9 month appointment and is now 30" tall and 22 lbs. 4 oz.

We're Back!

Well, I realize we took quite the hiatus from the blog, but we're back. The month of January seemed to be consumed with a lot of work and a lot of sickness. Carson has been battling a double ear infection since Christmas... hopefully its cleared up this time after the third round of antibiotics. I had my share of being sick for 2 weeks straight and am glad it is FINALLY over.So, the short of it is, we're back and posting again. And there will be many, MANY pictures to come (not like me at all!).

In other news... a BIG welcome to the world to Walter Joseph Freund who was born to my sister, Amy and her family on January 25! Carson and I can't wait to meet him early March!

Carson's First Shoes

Thanks to Grandpa Hammer, Carson has his first pair of shoes... and of course, they're just like Grandpa's pair... only not worn out.
