Carson's Golf Swing

Carson loves to practice his golf swing. It has become an everyday occurance in the last number of weeks. He now even lines up the club with the ball and then swings away... and swings very hard. We've been through several plastic clubs already!

Easter Sunday

Carson's new favorite sport is bowling, so the Easter Bunny left him a bowling set.
Found all of the Easter eggs
Easter afternoon we golfed with the Buhrt family. This was Carson's first time on a real course and he absolutely loved it.

I'm not sure if it gets better than this.
Notice how they are both walking and holding their club and ball...
I guess its true- like father, like son!
If you're thinking this looks like total chaos, you're right.
But it was so much fun and the kids had a blast.

Mike and his girls... what a shot.

All that golfing made us hungry

Chandler Ostrich Festival

Yes, there is an Ostrich Festival in Chandler. This was the 20th annual. They actually race Ostriches (with jockey's and all). There was a little petting zoo and all Carson can still talk about is petting the goats.

Hungry anyone?
A HUGE train display just fascinated Carson

Day at Daddy's Work

Doug was working for the grand opening of the Callaway Performance Center so Carson and I went up to Troon North to visit. Ever since, Carson hasn't put down his golf clubs.

"I drive... I drive!"

I'm really not sure who was having more fun...
Certainly Doug's youngest and most prized student!

Valentine's party at "school" with Carson's class

Carson was apparently tired after eating and curled up with 'Peanut' under his table. He never did fall asleep but just rested for a little bit!

Grandma Gwen & Dennis Visit

Grandma Gwen and Dennis came for a visit in the end of January - early February. We had a great time having them here and Carson had so much fun playing with them.

"Ooooooh, look at that!"
Having fun in the backyard

We have a new game in our yard. Carson takes the rain gauge (like we ever use it) and says "I get you...." meaning run and catch me.
This was the first day he started it and boy, was he getting a kick out of being "sneaky".

Carson loves his blocks and loves stacking
