Sisters in AZ / Doug's Birthday

A pretty common sight after our morning walks...

My two sisters came to visit for a weekend. We pretty much ate, shopped, ate some more and shopped some more!

Carson's holding Corduroy - an early birthday present.
He has slept with him every night since and must always know where he is. He has become Peanut's sidekick for sure!

Happy Mother's Day!

On Mother's Day morning I came back from my run to Carson greeting me with the world's largest Mother's Day balloon! Dad said that he asked Carson which one they should get and of course, he said "THAT ONE!" He spent the entire day pulling it around the house. I asked him if it was my balloon and he said "Yes, but we can share, Mommy!"

Grandma!

Grandma Gwen & Dennis came for a few days to visit. We had a great time while they were here just enjoying the weather and good company! While they were here, Charlie looked at me Sunday morning at breakfast and said "ma-ma". He also cut FOUR top teeth that day. He'll be eating steak before we know it!

Charlie and I went up to Troon North one day to
take some pictures for one of Doug's articles.

Random Good Stuff

We enjoyed the Cubs game and their big (and only) win over the Dbacks while they were in town. We also actually were able to watch the game since the kids stayed home. A nice date at the ballpark for us!

Playing blocks!

Didn't care about the "name stack" next to him...
just wanted to come get mom and the camera!
