Happy Halloween!

We had a very "batty" Halloween in our house. Carson wanted to be a bat, so Charlie followed suit. The boys normally don't go to daycare on Friday, but they were having a party, so I took them for a couple hours.

On Fridays, the "music man" comes to sing and entertain. This is where Carson developed such a love of the guitar.

Carson's class - everyone has an instrument to play!

Charlie's class was ready for nap so we went to see Carson before heading home for naps.

Great costumes from a little material and a little felt!

Trick-or-Treaters
Carson says that "You ring the doorbell and say Trick-or-Treat! And if someone doesn't give you a treat, then you have to trick 'em."

The boys ready to trick-or-treat

Now this is the way to trick-or-treat!

Charlie started getting into it and pointing at every house with decorations and proclaiming, "Wow!" (his favorite word)

Counting the loot...
Carson was so cute, he laid it all out and just looked at it for a very long time. He had a great time trick-or-treating!

Haircuts!

Well overdue, Charlie and Carson each got their hair cut.

Wasn't sure if he would do it, but Charlie sat up in the chair all by himself... and sat STILL!

Much better!

Carson getting trimmed up, too.

New P.J.'s - Thanks Grandma Gwen!

San Francisco / Nike Women's Marathon

We made the trip to San Francisco so I could run my first marathon. It was our first time in the city and we really loved it. So much history and character. The kids spent the long weekend at our house with Grandma Gwen (Thank you again!!).

I couldn't blame him... lots of running stuff and girly stuff!

We visited AT&T Park. Unfortunately they weren't doing tours that day, but the area around the park is beautiful nonetheless.
