Looking a Lot Like Christmas

As our tradition, we decorate the house Thanksgiving weekend.

What would Carson do with out "Peanut" and Charlie without "Cashew"? And their thumbs, of course...

My cousin Jenny and her family were out here and stopped by for a visit. It was so great to see them. While they were here we had the biggest pizza any of us have ever seen!

Thanksgiving in AZ

We had a great Thanksgiving with our "Arizona Family" this year.

Iron Girl 10-Mile

I recently ran in the Iron Girl 10-mile run around Tempe Town Lake. It was a lot of fun, but maybe a little soon after the marathon. My knees hurt quite a bit (which have never in my life bothered me), but I've wanted to do this event for a number of years. It was a great feeling to cross the finish line! The best part is Doug, Carson and Charlie came to cheer me on. I stopped to give Carson a kiss halfway through and I don't think he was quite so sure it was me. Doug said he kept waiting and asking where I was. Later I thanked Carson for coming to cheer me on and he said, "But I just stood there, mom." I assured him that was enough.
